Czech Technical University (CTU) in Prague Is the biggest and the most important technical university in the Czech Republic. CTU Prague celebrates this year its 300 years anniversary. CTU Prague has approx. 25,000 students at 7 faculties (Civil Engineering, Mechanical Eng., Electrical Eng., Applied Sciences, Architecture, Transport Sc. and Biomedical Eng.).
Faculty of Electrical Engineering (FEE) was founded 1953 and now has roughly 6,000 students in all main fields, like e.g. communications, radioelectronics, power engineering, control eng., computer science, etc.
Dept. of EM field (CTU) is one of the basic departments of FEE. It covers teaching and research activities in theory and applications of EM field, including microwave technique, antennas and EM waves propagation.
