WP8 - Life Cycle Analysis
A Life Cycle Analysis (LCA) will complement research activities thus allowing to analyse the cradle-to-grave cycle of bio-based transport packaging products, and to compare results with environmental impacts procured by competing technologies such as e.g. EPS. Results of the LCA would allow to clearly identifying the added value provided by the biopolymer foam in terms of environmental friendliness and environmental sustainability of the overall process.
